Starbucks may be many things but they have been incredible at bringing decent (some say good) coffee to out-of-the-way places.
Towns throughout America (and the world) now offer their residents (and visitors) a solid cup of coffee, espresso or similar where previously nothing worth drinking was available.
The only personal problem I have with Starbucks is they don't offer Irish Coffee. "We're working on that," says the local Barista.
I'm delighted that Starbucks continues to experiment with new marketing ploys. A coffee / tea piano bar is an interesting concept - and I'm a professional piano player (albiet not full time).
Over the last twenty years I've dealt with more drunks then I care to imagine. But a coffee / tea bar? Hmmmm? Somebody pass the Steinway, please.
