Italian bike company Pinarello has
given England 1050 bicycles this year - for elite racers and grassroots programs. The racers and kids have the bikes; Pinarello has the big visibility in the UK. I feel sure this is how things are supposed to work....

The Pinarello folks are certainly some of cycling's "good guys". Smart marketers certainly, but they give back some of those profits with programs like this. Larry thanked Fausto Pinarello at Interbike a few years ago for promoting their Gran Fondo....it's great to see a bike company promoting the actual RIDING of the bicycle vs the purchasing/collecting of them!
