Here's a Guardian (UK) piece about a retro-style bike ride in Italy....on old bikes, in cold clothes and on old unpaved roads. Sound wonderful? I thought so too....
A wonderful event that has spawned plenty of similar rides in Italy. Reminds us of what we try to do with CycleItalia, though we ride on asphalt roads with modern bicycles -- but the relaxed pace and great food and wine are an integral part of the "pedala forte, mangia bene!" experience that can only be truly experienced in Italy.
